On Sunday November 17, 2019 New Oak Grove Baptist visited BBC for a joint service of praise and worship. Rev. Tyrone Johnson brought the message after a combined choir sang three praise songs,  bringing the congregation to its' feet.

The service was one of unity between Christian brothers and sisters worshiping our one true God.

​The very first combined worship service was held at BBC on March 29, 2010 with New Oak Grove Baptist Church.  This was a historic event considering that Blackwater once had a "slave balcony" in its sanctuary. A fellowship luncheon was served after the service.

Later, on April 11, 2010 the churches combined for services as Blackwater visited New Oak Grove Baptist Church for worship and fellowship.
