Today was Graduate Sunday, when we recognized all the hard work and achievement of those who graduated from high school, college, and elsewhere.
Lauren A. has received her advanced degree in nursing
Jerry B. graduated from NASCAR technical school.
Paige R. and Josh G. both received their diplomas from high schools.
We're so proud of each of these young Christian men and women and know that God will continue to bless them as He takes them on the individual journeys He has planned for them.
Fathers Day came to this morning. The service began with special music by the Shades of Grace singing "Your Love Is Extravagant" not just for fathers, but to our Heavenly Father. The words said it all, expressing the love and care He and our own earthly Dads have shown to their children. How blessed we are when we have Godly men in our lives and a Heavenly Father who loves us so much!
Ms. Sylvia was back at the piano today and we sang the traditional hymns, Faith of Our Fathers and This Is My Father's World.
Unfortunately we were unable to record today's sermon; all the more reason to come to church each Sunday morning at 10:00am to hear the messages in person and to fellowship with the good people of BBC. We have a place saved just for you!
BBC is a warm and welcoming family of like-minded believers who come together to worship our amazing God. Since 1774 BBC has served the Blackwater community and while steeped in tradition we also blend in a bit of contemporary to transition to an exciting future. We'd love to have you join us!
